"Henri IV", le seul bon Roi dont "le peuple ait gardé la mémoire", un Roi hors du commun, un visionnaire, grand pacificateur, dont la passion amoureuse pour une beauté d'à peine 15 ans, aura failli porter la guerre dans l'Europe entière et lui coûtera la vie.

Alors qu'aujourd'hui, le monde entier est troublé par le fanatisme religieux, l'intolérance et le terrorisme, et que plane la sourde menace de nouvelles guerres de religions, peut-être est-il bon d'évoquer à la scène la mémoire de ce fondateur de la Liberté des cultes et de la tolérance, qu'était "le bon Roi Henri".
